Developed as a modification of UVM II medium, Fraser Broth is a secondary enrichment broth for the isolation of Listeria spp. and is similar to PALCAM Broth in that it contains aesculin to indicate the presence of a potential Listeria isolate. Fraser Broth is formulated to ISO 12290-1:1997.
